About Me (Tag from Darci)
My friend Darci tagged me. I think, to encourage me to actually write something on my blog. I am not the best at this. I am really enjoying being a stay at home mom and find myself really busy during the day and going to bed quite early. At any rate, here are the answers to my tag.
1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? I believe I am named after a distant relative named Emily. My mom wanted to name me Emily but my dad did not. They compromised and named me Emmy Lee. I am one of a kind and I love it.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? I cried last week. I was remembering the day we found out we were pregnant. It was the best day of my life!
3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? No.
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? If I had to choose one it would be turkey but even with that I am very picky.
5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Yes, one miracle baby!
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Heck yes. BFF's
7. GREATEST FEAR? Speaking in public, spiders, bugs, mice, roaches, and pretty much anything with too many legs.
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Thank heavens no. I got mine out just after I was married. Those things had its own solar system. HUGE problems. I am glad I finally got them out but I would never do it again. Very painful!
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? Nope. I forgot to add heights to my greatest fears.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? I am not a big fan of cereal. I did crave Lucky Charms when I was pregnant.
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? No
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? emotionally, no. Physically, I think I was before I was pregnant. I didn't lift a finger when I was pregnant to avoid any chances of miscarriage.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? anything Chocolate with peanut butter.
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? This might be weird but their mouth.
15. RED OR PINK? Red
16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOU? It changes day to day.
17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? I would have to say my grandmother. She passed when I was 11 and I would like to be able to talk with her now that I am older.
18. WHAT IS THE GREATEST THING YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF? That too changes day to day.
19. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING RIGHT NOW? No shoes and pink pajama pants. It is way past my bed time.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? Pumpkin chocolate chip cookie.
21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Dave is watching Smallville.
22. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Red
23. FAVORITE SMELLS? Rain, baking in the fall, opening the window for the first time in the spring.
24. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? My mom
25. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO TAGGED THIS TO YOU? Of course. I miss you Darci. Lets hang out again soon. I wish we lived closer.
26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH: Gymnastics, the Jazz in the playoffs.
27. HAIR COLOR? Blonde
28. EYE COLOR? Blue
29. Do you wear contacts or glasses? Contacts.
30. FAVORITE FOOD? Mexican food, sweets, pizza, all the unhealthy stuff it's amazing I don't weigh over 300 pounds.
31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Both. I love a good scary movie around Halloween and also love the happy feel good movies.
32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Runaway Jury. Just watched it tonight.
33. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? Pink
34. SUMMER OR WINTER? both. I like all 4 seasons. I just wish all 4 were more equal in time.
35. HUGS OR KISSES? both
36. FAVORITE DESSERT? Jello fluff
37. WHO IS YOUR HERO? Dave. He amazes me and wants me to be a better person.
38. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO? Dance, snowboard, waterski, spend time with family and friends, sleep, eat, cook.
39. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? I am not reading a book right now. I would like to read the 7th Harry Potter book I never finished. I am reading a parenting magazine right now.
40. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? I don't have a mouse pad. Just a lap top.
41. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON T.V. LAST NIGHT? Ghost hunters
42. FAVORITE SOUND? DJ laughing, Dave when he is excited about something.
43. ROLLING STONES OR BEATLES? Beatles
44. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? England, Ireland, Mexico and Hawaii
45. DO YOU HAVE A WEIRD TALENT? Walk on my hands
46. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? LDS Hospital.
47. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU LAUGHED? Today when I was laughing at DJ laughing. It is contagious
48. WHAT TIME IS IT NOW? 11:47 p.m.
49. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU PRAYED? Tonight. I prayed over dinner.
50. IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOU WHAT WOULD IT BE? My memory. I forget a lot of things.

I love reading these things, but I never do them myself..
You called me a couple weeks ago, but I didn't get the message until a few days later, we were camping, and of course I thought I had your number so I erased the message, Yikes I'm a basket case. Sorry, give me a call.

Hey you! Thanks for doing the tag. I love hearing these things about people. How is the house coming? When are ou going to post pictures of it?
I would love to get together. Things are kind of calming down. I really want to see all of you again. How about dinner sometime next week? Call me!
You need to record DJ's laughing and put it on your blog so we can all hear it. We'll need to get our boys together again sometime so they can play. They haven't been together since they were in the hospital together! It was so much fun to be in the hospital and run into you and DJ in the hallways (even though I looked like I was run over by a diesel truck and you were power walking the halls with your hair and makeup done).
Nice Emmy! It is good to read something on your blog! It is also fun to read all of those things about you. You are such a good wife and Mommy. Thanks for hanging out with me!
